Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit abstracts for presenting at the conference. Abstracts will be due September 30, 2011 and should indicate if the author plans to submit a full paper, which will be due by December 31, 2011. Full papers will be considered for publication in one of two special issue journals:

- Issues for first responders and voluntary organizations during evacuations
